Although ship outreaches are scheduled to redeploy in a few weeks’ time, we’ve had land-based medical teams operating throughout Western Province, administering childhood immunisations and COVID vaccines. Our teams have visited over 90 villages in this province, collaborating with local health workers on the ground.
Something new that will likely be of interest to you all – in the midst of all of our medical outreaches, we’re also establishing a new satellite campus in Port Moresby, the capital city of PNG. Youth of the nation are hungry for Biblically-based training, and it’s a privilege to be able to serve in this way. We recently graduated our first Discipleship Training School (DTS) students from this location.
These students underwent a six-month course, consisting of both lectures and outreach. These teams were able to distribute so many Bibles, several of which were some that City Bibles supplied.

With the ship redeploying in September, we’ll be taking Bibles to Western Province, as well.
